To Joan, Joan we have heard a lot about you. I'm Pam's neighbor who lives in the woods behind her former residence. I just wanted to convey my sincere sympathy. Dick was such a wonderful man, and I'm sure you have heard this from so many. We loved having him sit w/us at Twinnies after Mass on Sunday. After hearing of his passing, I told many who knew him that he passed away and they were shocked. I'm hopeful that w/all the great memories you have after being married almost all your life, you will be smiling just knowing Dick is w/the Lord. Best, Carol and Art Fischer

Dear Aunt Joan, Lisa, Richard, Ben, and Caroline, I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Dick’s passing. He was always a favorite Uncle of mine and while I didn’t see him nearly as much as I would have liked over the years I am eternally grateful for the active part he took in both my mother’s and Jennifer’s lives when they were going through their difficulties. It’s funny in a way how I not only remember his image but his voice which is apparently imprinted forever in my mind as it must be in yours. It’s that imprint that provides me with fond memories of Uncle Dick starting way back in my youth to our last visit a year or two ago of which I will always appreciate. I count myself one of the lucky ones to have had an Uncle as fine and human as Uncle Dick and I will miss him. My comfort is the knowledge that he is now in a better place with Grandfather, Grandmother, Uncle Will, and all those we have loved who have already preceded him. My best wishes and prayers are for all of you in this time of morning.

We were saddened to hear about Uncle Dick. He was full of stories about him and Daddy...Boy, they must have been quite a pair growing up. Wish we could have been able to come up, but it just didn't work out as we have lost a Dad and Papa. But know ya'll will be in out thoughts and prayers this week. Love You, Harry, Debbie, Carrie, Katie and Audrey.

Dick, It was an honor to know you. Your smile brightened the room and I loved our side jokes about roles of Biblical men and women - such a gift of humor! You will deeply be missed by all. I know Abba Father gently lifted you from your pillow and in His arms took you to your loved ones who have gone before you. I look forward to seeing you again at the Heavenly Banquet. Please keep us straight and on the correct road to God and you. We will love and miss you always. Irene
