Mr Taylor was a very nice man. He was my vice principal when I was in high school more than 30 years ago. No matter how hard you push him, he never lost his temper. And trust me, I gave him plenty of reason. I hope everyone who knew, knew him As the decent, kind and understanding person I knew him to be.

Ann and I both came in contact with Dick when we started teaching at North East High School. Dick was one of those people who both knew and liked people...especially the kids he taught. He was a very good Teacher, a Father and a great contributor to a number of community organizations: All to help people. Dick will be missed, but his kindnesses and caring will not go away. It was a pleasure to have known and worked with him.

We have lost a true Gentleman. A true Christian in deeds not just words. An educator, a giver that set a high bar which his sons & many students carry on. Even toward the end, he proved an inspirational man while battling an opponent to whom so many have succumbed.
Thank you for the memories which I will cherish always.
