Richard Fredrick Bell, Jr.” Richie”, age 35, of Rising Sun, MD passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. He was born on December 17, 1988, in Newark, DE. Richie was the son of Richard Fredrick Bell, Sr., and Cheryl Tina Patterson.

Richie enjoyed working in the family business of Riverview Construction, dedicating his life to excavating, grading and the family. Outside of work, Richie found solace in spending time fishing and hunting. He had an adventurous heart, often found riding dirt bikes and BMX racing. His spirit will forever be part of the many lives he touched, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Richie is survived by his parents, Richard F. Bell, Sr., and Cheryl Patterson; fiancé, Danielle Brice; children: Reece Bell, Teagan Bell, and Ethan S. Brice; brother, Daniel C. Bell; sister-in-law, Shelby Bell; nieces: Mabel Bell, and Eleanor Bell.

Richie is preceded in death by his Grandparents: Clyde N. Bell, Sr., Hildegard Bell, Audrey Mergenthaler, and Lawrence Mergenthaler.

A celebration of Richie’s life will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21921, where family and friends may begin visiting at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Rosebank Cemetery.
