Richard C. Correll, Jr., age 58, of Newark, DE passed away suddenly on September 3, 2013, doing what he loved. Richard was born on September 25, 1954 in Wilmington, DE to the late Richard C. and Laura J. (Reed) Correll.
He is survived by his fiancé Rebecca Uniatowski of Newark, DE; son, Tim Correll and wife Lesley of Middletown, DE; daughters, Angela Wagner and husband Ryan of Fruitland, MD and Amy Correll of Newark, DE; brother, Rodney Correll of Newark, DE; sisters, Robin Griffith and husband John of Forest Hill, MD and Laurie Riley and husband Greg of Lewes, DE; step-children, Sean Walker and Beverly Ann Walker of Newark, DE; as well as 7 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held 6-8 PM on Monday September 9, 2013 at R.T. Foard & Jones Inc., located at 122 W. Main St. Newark, DE. A service will be held Tuesday September 10 at 11AM at the funeral home, where friends and family may arrive one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations made to offset expenses be made out to Rebecca Uniatowski and mailed to the funeral home.

One of my best memories of Richard was how he helped with the tube feedings of our middle child, Amy (1978). He was not afraid of taking charge of her care and going from 2 hour feedings to 3 and 4 hour feedings so we could get some rest. More recent, Amy enjoyed her bowling outings with her Dad - just the two of them.
