Richard Allen Kutcher, “Rich”, age 90 of Davenport, FL passed away on February 2, 2024 in Kissimmee, FL. He was born on March 14, 1933 in Philadelphia, PA to the late John Kutcher and Lena Mae (Mason) Kutcher.
Rich was a man who enjoyed life to the fullest and had a lot of fun. He was always joking around with family and friends and enjoyed making others laugh. Traveling was a huge part of Rich’s life. He enjoyed traveling all over the world with his first wife of 54 years, Madeline, and, continued to enjoy his travels with his 2nd wife of 14 years, Barbara, leaving few countries unexplored. Rich enjoyed golf, going on walks, riding his bike, and being outdoors. He enjoyed playing cards and found great enjoyment in bowling. He was a proud coach and coached many youth bowling teams throughout the years. Rich proudly served in the United States Navy for 5 ½ years during the Korean War. He then served in the Navy Reserves until 1961.
Rich is survived by his wife of 14 years, Barbara Gibe; children: Karen Wallace (Thomas) and Sandra Mahala; grandchildren: Christina Tessen, Tammy Greer (Tommy), Timothy Hendrickson (Gwendolyn), and Eric Mahala-Nevins (Karyssa); great grandchildren: Silveira Tessen, Marley Boehm, Destiny Elings, Drew Elings, Mahala Hendrickson, and Heidi Justice; and brother, John Kutcher, Jr.
He is preceded by his first wife, Madeline Marie (Soares) Kutcher and sister, Dorothy Huyette.
A graveside service for Rich will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 12PM at Gilpin Manor Memorial Park in Elkton, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made payable to “Advent Hospice” and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921.
