Moore personally designed and served as general contractor for most of the various buildings at the current Rising Sun Nazarene location. He and his wife were the founders for the Nazarene Child Care Center, as known and operating today. In line with his passion for reaching families and children through sports, he also had a vision for bringing the Upward Basketball and Cheerleading program to his local community, which is also still operating.
