Regina Ann Roop, 50, of Conowingo, Maryland, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026. Born in Elkton, Maryland, on December 10, 1975, she was the cherished daughter of Wayne Milliner and the late Alice Milliner (née Mullins) and the loving wife of the late Esley Roop III.
Regina worked as a cook at area restaurants throughout the years, where she found joy in preparing food for others. She was a kind, loving, and generous person who was often considered everyone’s “Mom.” Regina had a heart for helping others and would do anything she could for her family and friends. She especially loved spoiling her nieces and nephews with candy and other little treats.
Family was at the center of Regina’s life. She was the family’s party planner and had a special way of making every holiday, birthday, and family gathering memorable. She was also a wonderful cook, and her family especially enjoyed her homemade lasagna. Regina had a special love for Baby Yoda and enjoyed playing Bingo online. Her warmth, generosity, and ability to make others feel loved will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her husband, Esley Roop III, Regina was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Milliner.
She is survived by her children, Sarah Roop (Destiny) and Bubby Roop (Marcy Miller); her father, Wayne Milliner; her siblings, Delores Atwood, Rebecca Bishop, Jacqueline Milliner, and Heather Milliner; her partner Paul Campbell as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
