Raymond “Ray” Lewis Isaac of North East, MD, age 72, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016. He was born on September 27, 1944 in Elkton, MD to Elsie (Lewis) Isaac and the late Fred Isaac.
Ray was an avid collector of antiques. He enjoyed working with his hands and “tinkering” with his antique clocks. Ray also found pleasure in playing cards, tending his watermelon plants in his garden, and feeding the birds and deer while spending time outdoors.
Ray is survived by three sons: Ronnie Isaac, Patrick Isaac and his wife Maria, and David Isaac and his wife Bonni; daughter, Mary Beth Barben; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; brother, Fred “Joe” Isaac, and mother, Elsie Isaac. Ray is survived by his loving companion of fourteen years, Nancy Runyon and her family: daughter, Melanie Gilley and her husband, Mark Gilley, and two granddaughters: Autumn Gilley-Greene and her husband Josh, and Summer Gilley.
Funeral services in Ray’s honor will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 11AM at Union United Methodist Church, 440 Union Church Rd., Elkton, MD 21921. Burial will follow in the adjacent cemetery. Family and friends may begin visiting at 10AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “Union United Methodist Church” or to “Baptist Bible Fellowship” and sent in care of the R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 259 East Main St., Elkton, MD 21921.
