I couldn't have asked for more loving grandparents. Granny and Grandaddy spoiled us as the best grandparents should....we never wanted for anything. Granny helped to raise me, teaching me to read and write before I started kindergarten at age 4. I remember sitting in their living room, Grandaddy sitting in his recliner, cutting up an apple, and Granny sitting in hers, crocheting. Grandaddy would occasionally toss a slice her way and she would always catch it. They were two very loving and caring people, and I'm so happy to know that they are together again. Granny endured the loss of a child, and most of her family members, but not having Grandaddy by her side was the hardest for her. She yearned for the day that they could be together. Granny was never an unhappy person. She broke the rules and didn't care. She was loved by so many people and we will miss her so much. I hope she always knew how much she meant to me.

I will always remember the love my mother gave me. She and my father adopted me when I was just a few days old. I only weighed 3 pounds and my mom being a registered nurse knew exactly how to take care of me and even made an incubator for me out of a clothes basket. I along with my two brothers had a wonderful childhood spending our early years on a 91 acre farm. My fondest memories of my mom were those made on that farm. I love you mom and I will always miss you. I know you are with Jesus, and with dad. I will see you again someday. Your loving daughter Marilyn
