Sorry we could not attend the funeral. Aunt Prude was great woman, I was so happy she could make the trip to see my mom, her sister before my mom passed. That dinner we shared with the two sister together again after so many years is my fondest memory of my mother last year. It is nice to know they are in heaven together again smiling down on all of us.

My condolences to the Hansen family for their loss. Aunt Purdie was a good mother and good person, she raised her children to be fine and upstanding citizens. May she rest in peace and see the Lord . I didn't get to see my aunt much since I lived in Michigan and Texas and they in Delaware. While in the service I was able to spend many weekends with the family and enjoyed my stay there .

God our Father, your power brings us to birth, your providence guides our lives, and by your command we return to dust. Lord, those who die still live in your presence, their lives change but do not end. We pray in hope for Purdie, and for all the dead known to you alone. In company with Christ, who died and now lives, may they rejoice in your kingdom, where all our tears are wiped away. Unite us together again in one family, to sing your praise forever and ever. Amen.
