Phyllis A. Reese, age 84 of Wilmington, DE (formerly Lake Worth, FL) passed away on July 20, 2026 at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE after a brief illness. She was born in Elkton, Maryland on September 29, 1941 to the late Lydia A. Rakes Reese and Pierce H. Reese.
During her lifetime, she attended Washington Missionary College; worked for the Department of Labor, various lawyers, and Longwood Gardens. She was very interested in history, and enjoyed traveling abroad.
She is survived by her brother, Ronald P. Reese, Sr. and his wife, Linda; her niece, Dawn M. Struble, and her husband Shane; her nephew, Ronald P. Reese, Jr.; her great nephew, Landon P. Reese; and extended family members.
In addition to her mother and father, she was predeceased by her son, Robert G. Zabady, Jr.
Per her wishes, burial is private.
