Philip Michael Brown, aged 42, a resident of Rising Sun, MD, passed away on December 11, 2023. Born on January 13, 1981, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Philip John Brown and Jaunita Ella (nee, Church) Brown.
Philip was an accomplished gas line mechanic for Miller Pipeline, Inc, and took pride in being a dedicated Union member of Local 710. Beyond his professional life, he found solace in nature, indulging in his passion for fishing, whether in fresh or saltwater. A true Survivalist at heart, he enjoyed building forts in the woods and engaging in Paintball Games. Philip also had a keen interest in comic books, with X-Men and Mortal Kombat ranking among his favorites. Known for his challenging yet likable personality, he had a knack for finding humor in difficult situations.
Above all, Philip cherished his role as a father, displaying a deep love for his three children: Jade Nelson and her husband, Conrad, Philip Brown, IV, and Dante Brown. His love extended to his granddaughter, Lilith Nelson. He is survived by four siblings: Lisa Class and her husband, Scott, Jessica Frederick and her husband, Martin, Ray Murphy and his wife, Lisa, and Tracy Bandell and her husband, Kenny. Additionally, he is remembered by his girlfriend, Lauren Buchanan, and the mother of his children, Nicole Heyne. He was also survived by his Aunt Marjorie Murphy as well as his Uncle Michael Brown. He will remembered by his nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Philip’s life will be held on January 13, 2024 at a Essex Methodist Church. We ask for friends and loved ones to arrive starting at 12. The church is located at 524 Maryland Ave Essex Md 21221.
Philip will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. May his memory be a source of comfort during this difficult time.
