Philip Narcisi, 77, of Elkton, MD, passed away peacefully at his home after a lengthy illness on April 14, 2014.
Born in Philadelphia, PA on September 7, 1936, Philip was the son of the late Stefano and Gelsomina D’Alessandro Narcisi. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1957-63. He was a talented auto body repairman for over nearly 50 years. Phil had many interests; flying, coin collecting, boxing and was a fan of Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Surviving are his daughter Sylvia Cappuccio and her husband Christopher of Magnolia, NJ; two granddaughters, Teresa and Christina Cappuccio; and a brother-in-law, Alexander DeMayo and several cousins and nieces. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Silvia Narcisi, and a sister Tina DeMayo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jude Catholic Church, North East, MD on Monday April 21, 2014 at 12 noon with a visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Contributions in Philip’s memory may be made to the Disabed Veterans and mailed to R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A. 259 East Main St., Elkton, MD 21921.
