Peter Henry Dickinson, age 82 of Elkton, MD passed away on February 17, 2024. He was born on October 6, 1941 in Boothbay, ME to the late Henry Clark Dickinson, Jr. and Catherine Mildred (Brown) Dickinson.

Peter was a devout Christian and served as an Assistant Pastor at New Life Fellowship a congregation of Grace Communion International. He was very interested in genealogy and reading biographies. Peter and his wife enjoyed travelling together all over the world. He was a Red Sox fan and enjoyed attending University of Delaware basketball games. Peter is described as a very patient and loving man who was devoted to God. He will be missed and cherished by many.

Peter is survived by his wife of 56 years, Virginia Dickinson; daughters: Gera Ward and her husband, Christopher and Laura Parker; grandchildren: Edward Ward, Andrew Parker, and Alexis Parker; and brothers: Eric Dickinson and his wife, Peg and Lee Dickinson.

A Celebration of Peter’s life will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11AM at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921, Family and friends may attend the visitation beginning at 10AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “American Cancer Society” and send in care of the funeral home.
