Pauline Grace Madron Rogers, age 70, of West Chester, PA, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015, at her home in West Chester, PA. She was born on May 29, 1945, in Elkton, MD, to the late Olin and Ruby Eastridge Madron.
She worked as a deli clerk at several sub shops before joining Super Fresh, at their deli counter. It was a job she loved, and her customers said that she made the “best sandwiches around” She became a teacher’s aide for the Chester County Public schools where she taught American Sign Language and night school. Very artistic, Pauline loved crafts, drawing, painting and music. She was an excellent cook. Another enjoyment of hers was to travel locally and visit with all her friends and family, who will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Rogers, Sr.; her three sons, Chad, Mike and Brian Rogers, all of West Chester, PA; a grandson, Charles David; a sister, Judith Madron Pauley and her husband, Alvin of Front Royal, VA; a niece, Dawn, and nephew, Colin; her aunt, Grace Dalton; and lots of cousins.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her granddaughter, Lindsay Marie.
Services will be held at 11AM on Friday, August 14, 2015 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911. Family and friends may visit one hour prior, beginning at 10AM. Burial will follow at Brookview Cemetery. To send an online condolence, visit www.rtfoard.com
