Paul D. Simpson, 70, of Elkton, MD passed away Friday, November 13, 2015.

Born April 11, 1945 in Elkton, MD, Paul was the son of the late Howard M. and Juanita (Hysell) Simpson. Paul served his country in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a lifelong member of the Chesapeake City VFW. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends but most of all he absolutely loved Hershey kisses.

Paul is survived by his son, Paul David Simpson, Jr.; grandson, Caleb Joseph Simpson; brothers, William E. Simpson and Howard M. Simpson; sister, Zelda Irene Whiteside; and numerous nieces and nephews. Including his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Caleb Simpson and his sister, Mary Louise Boddy.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Bethel Cemetery in Chesapeake City, MD. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made payable to the Chesapeake City VFW Post 7687 and sent in care to R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 E. Main St., Elkton, MD 21921.

Condolences to all of Paul's family. We went to school together. He was president of his senior class and I was VP. I attended the graveside service today. Nice to see some folks attend even in the rain. Paul was an easy going really good guy . I know he will be missed

So Sorry to Paul's family for their loss. I knew him when I grew up on Locust Pt Road. He was a friend and neighbor. May you rest in Peace friend.
