Paul A. Boulden, 71, of Newark, DE passed away surrounded by his loving family April 12, 2016 after his courageous battle with cancer.
Born December 25, 1944 in Wilmington, DE, Paul was the son of the late David and Lucy Boulden. Paul retired from Chrysler after 30 years. He was a dedicated NASCAR and Dallas Cowboys fan who also enjoyed NHRA. He was an animal lover who held a special place in his heart for his beloved dog, Taz. Paul was an extremely outgoing person; a social butterfly who never met a stranger. Most importantly, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who was known as “Superman” to his family because he was the most courageous and brave person they knew. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Linda Boulden; 3 daughters, Paula Carney and her husband, Tom, Pamela Hawkins and her husband, Chris, and Kimberly Boulden; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and three brothers, John, Butch, and Gene Boulden.
A service will be held at 11am Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at R.T. Foard & Jones, Inc., 122 W. Main St., Newark, DE 19711, where family and friends may visit beginning at 10am. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
