Patsy S. Simpson, 72, of Rising Sun, MD passed away Friday, August 7, 2015.
Born, September 10, 1942 in Wythe County, VA, Patsy was the daughter of the late Thomas Sheldon and Dorcas Gale (Sult) Snow. Patsy was a 1962 graduate of Peabody Conservatory of Music. She was an active member of both the AARP Tax Aide Group for 25 years and Kingdom Hall – Jehovah’s Witness in Rising Sun, MD. Among her many interests, she was most fond of classical music, playing the piano, and spending time with her wonderful family and friends.
Patsy is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, William E. Simpson; sister, Betty Gale Lanny and her husband, Wendell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service will be held in Patsy’s honor at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August, 19, 2015 at Harford Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to John Hopkins Children’s Hospital and sent in care to R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911.
