Patsy “Pat” E. McWilliams

Patsy E. McWilliams “Pat” born November 22, 1947 in Hendersonville, NC, to the late Helen (Suttles) Steppe, passed away on December 16, 2021.

Patsy was an avid recipe hunter; she took great joy in cooking and baking for her family, Patsy was known for her homemade jelly. She always loved a good murder mystery show or book. Patsy enjoyed logic puzzles, cross words, sudoku, and cards. Every morning, she was sure to have her cup of coffee. Patsy loved gardening, she had a flower and vegetable garden, and liked canning her own vegetables. She liked to bird watch, craft, decorate her house for holidays, and bowl with leagues and in tournaments. Patsy loved vacations, especially going to the Jersey Shore with her siblings.

Survived by her loving husband, James McWilliams III; three children: Annette McWilliams, Jimmy and Diane McWilliams, IV, and Mike McWilliams; nine grandchildren; five siblings: Loretta Jugler, Ginny and Tom Johnson, Mike and Dawn Steppe, Russ Steppe, and David Steppe; and step-father, Carl Steppe. Preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Hemrick and grandson, baby Jimmy.

The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. Patsy will be cremated with a memorial service that will be schedule at a later date.
