Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Patricia Mae Nickerson passed away early in the morning of January 30, 2025 at the age of 88. She was born in Tallahassee, FL to the late Damien Lynch and Elsie (Fleet) Lynch.

Patricia (or Pat as she preferred) grew up in Philadelphia where she danced on “American Bandstand.”  She moved to Chesapeake City where she graduated high school. She married and traveled the world as a former military wife (Leroy Nickerson). Then as a single mother she worked for over thirty years at Union Hospital. Patricia was known for her independent nature and was eager to learn new things, especially technology.  Spending time with her family, dear friends, and visiting neighbors was her favorite pastime as well as watching the soap opera” The Young and the Restless”. She lived her life on her own terms!

She is survived by her children Dana Rhoden (Lee), Dale Nickerson (Kathleen), and Darryn Nickerson.  As a grandmother to Christopher Bennett (Jennifer), Shawna Foraker (Jordan), and Colleen Nickerson (Joe Cimorosi), she was known as “Mom-Mom” and “Great Mom-Mom” to her great-grandchildren, Jordon Foraker, Jr, Alayna Foraker, Will Mennich, Lauren Bennett, and Joseph Cimorosi.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 16, 2025 at 3 p.m. at Villas at White Hall (700 Skip Jack Ct, Elkton, MD 21921), guests may begin gathering for visitation at 2 p.m.
