Pamela Eileen Blansfield, age 69, from Elkton, MD, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 19, 2024. She was born on December 11, 1954, in Wilmington, DE. Pamela was the daughter of the late John N. David, and Ruth Catherine (Lane) David.
Pamela had a love for cats, dogs, and horses, her passion led her to working for many years as a horse trainer. She also worked for a short time as a cashier at Martins. Pamela dedicated herself to her work, and would keep to herself, while still offering a friendly smile to those she encountered. Pamela’s interests reflected her gentle and nurturing spirit. She took great pleasure in caring for animals, and spending time shopping. Pamela will always be remembered for her deep love and dedication to animals. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
Pamela is survived by her cousins: Emily Allen (husband, Dennis), Terry Allen (wife, Jackie), Billy Allen (wife, Robin), Christopher Allen, Vicky Allen, and Bonnie Allen; brother, Johnny Mitchell.
The funeral service for Pamela will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made payable to the “Cecil County Animal Services” and sent in care of the R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 E. Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921.
