Nelson C. Chadwick, 81, a lifelong Elkton resident, passed away at his home May 20, 2014, surrounded by his family.
Born on March 8, 1933, Nelson was the son of the late Nelson and Elsie Foraker Chadwick. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a fan of the Baltimore Orioles, Westerns and fishing.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Patricia Duff and Rebecca Boggs, both of Elkton; 2 sons, Nelson Chadwick, III of Elkton an Michael Chadwick of North East; 10 grandchildren and a great grandchild; 3 brothers, George, James and Russell Chadwick and a sister, Shirley Poore. He was preceded in death by his wife Frieda; his sister Bertha Mae Chadwick and his brothers Robert and John Chadwick.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday May 27, 2014 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main St., Elkton, MD 21921 with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Earleville.
