Having just read these remembrances, I realize there was a lot about Nancy we never got to know. Our family knew her as the Atwater-Balderston family historian and just met her in the past few years. I sent a letter to Kay today but I just wanted to publically share how much it meant to our family to meet Nancy and some of the rest of the Balderston family. It seemed there was instant connection- family, farming, music, beautiful country. I wish we had gotten to know her better. Even so, we'll miss her. May God bless you all and provide comfort and assurance that Nancy is in His care.

Nancy and Lenard were wonderful people, and I am thankful to have known them!!!! Nancy was the sweetest Lady. She helped Melvin when he needed Meals on Wheels!!!! She handled him with ease when he said he didn't want them!!!!! What spunk she had!!!!! I will always think of her and Lenard together and riding around Colora!!!!!!! What a lovely couple they were!!!! Now reunited in heaven!!! Rest in peace Nancy!!!!! Love Machele

It is with great sadness that I learned of Nancy's passing. She was such a fine woman. I have had the pleasure of visiting her a number of times at her home while visiting Colora with my mother, Gladys Swift. I have fond memories of seeing her riding with Lenard in the side car and hearing him speak of his early days working with motorcycles. I enjoyed the hospitality Nancy always offered and will miss her. I send our love to all from this small corner of the Balderston family. With love, Eric Swift

It was with great sadness that the Jenkins family became aware of Nancy's passing. Nancy and her entire family have been a valuable asset to our little historical village of Colora and surrounding community. Nancy will certainly be missed. Ken Jenkins
