Nancy Louise Larson, 74, of Cecil County, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2025.
Born on November 12, 1950, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, Nancy was the cherished daughter of Donald Homan and the late Carolyn Hill. She was the devoted wife of 53 years to the late George Richard Larson, and a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Nancy worked for 25 years as a bank teller in several banks throughout Delaware. She was known for her warm smile, kind demeanor, and ability to brighten the days of everyone she met. A private and gentle soul, Nancy found joy in life’s simple pleasures—caring for her home, and spending quality time with her family.
Family meant everything to Nancy. She took immense pride in raising her children and delighted in watching her grandchildren grow. In her husband’s final years, she lovingly cared for him, never wavering in her devotion. Her loyal French Bulldog, George, was her constant companion and source of comfort.
Nancy was a long-standing member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, where her quiet faith was a steady presence in her life. She will be remembered for her selflessness, strength, and deep love for those closest to her.
Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Hill, and her husband, George Richard Larson.
She is survived by her father, Donald Homan; her children: George “Rick” Larson Jr. and his wife Rebecca, Jaime Butler and her husband Jason, and Carrie Bailey and her husband Ryan; her treasured grandchildren: Bodie Butler, Rogan Larson, Rory Bailey, Geordie Bailey, and Toby Bailey; and her loving sister, Lynda Kleman. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, George.
