Nancy Ann Widdoes

Nancy Ann Widdoes, age 83 Newark, DE passed away peacefully on March 15, 2024, in Newark, DE. She was born on November 7, 1940, to the late Raymond Widdoes and Elsie Ann (Reed) Widdoes.

Nancy was a loving, caring, and compassionate person. Family meant everything to Nancy, and she lived for the joy and happiness of her daughters and granddaughters. In addition to her dedication to her family, she enjoyed spending time going shopping, and basking in the sun at the beach. Nancy also found solace in the small pleasures of life, loved to watch soap operas and other TV shows.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Ann Croteau and Christina Brand; granddaughters, Ava Brockell and Brianna Davis.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her dear daughter, Cathy Croteau; son, John L. Croteau, III; 5 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Graveside service will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Nancy’s name may be made payable to “Cecil County Domestic Violence Rape Crisis Center in Elkton” sent in care of R.T. Foard & Jones, Inc., 122 W. Main Street, Newark, DE 19711.
