Mrs. Sheila Mason Moore

Sheila Mason Moore (59) of Rising Sun, MD, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. Sheila was born in Polk County, TN to the late Frances Tanner Mason and Zeke Mason.

Sheila lived in Murphy, NC until she moved to Rising Sun, MD in 2003. Sheila enjoyed spending time outside, decorating and teaching her grandkids how to be strong, but caring towards others. Sheila also loved her family and enjoyed the time they were together.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Donald Moore; her two daughters: April Davenport and husband David of Murphy, NC, Amanda McConnell of Rising Sun, MD; her son, Aaron Morgan McConnell of Rising Sun, MD; brother, Mike Mason and wife Tammie of Fredricksburg, VA; sister, Karen James and husband Gary of Andrews, NC and grandchildren: Aiden, Christian, Wyatt and Bella.

All Services are pending at this time with Townson – Rose Funeral Home in Murphy, NC. Burial will be in Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery in Murphy, NC. For service updates go to www.townsonrose.com

Shelia was my best friend and my neighbor. We loved to sit in the driveway and chat for hours, we did lunch dates and went shopping . She was an amazing lady and my best friend . I will miss her dearly but I have very fond memories to hold on to and cherish. I love you Shelia until we meet again I will forever value our relationship in Jesus name Amen.
