Margaret L. Webb (92) of Newark, DE, passed away on May 1, 2022 at her home. Born in Rhodell, WV on December 18, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Laura Lilly and the devoted wife of 46 years to the late Earl R. Webb, Sr., and their son, Earl R. Webb, Jr.

Margaret ran a Day Care Center for many years, where she was considered a “mother” to all the children she cared for. She was a faithful member of Ogletown Baptist Church in Newark.

She is survived by two sons: Dwayne C. Webb of Newark, DE and Jeffery A. Webb of Andersonville, TN; two daughters: Tammie Durr of Newark, DE and Pamela Hamlett of Stewartstown, PA; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and her faithful dog, Daisy.

In addition to her husband, son, and parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her 11 siblings.

A service is scheduled for 1:00pm on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the R.T. Foard Funeral Home 259 E. Main Street, Elkton, MD.  Friends and family may begin visiting at the funeral home from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Burial will be in the Cherry Hill Methodist Cemetery.
