Marvin Edward Temple, age 79 of Nottingham, PA passed away on June 7, 2022. He was born on April 07,1943 in Havre De Grace, MD to the late Marvin L. Temple and Stella C. Temple.

Marvin was a member of the American Legion Post 194 in Rising Sun, MD. He had a love for traveling and enjoyed visiting Pigeon Forge each year. As an avid sports fan, he never missed a chance to watch his favorite driver, Bill Elliott during a NASCAR race or a chance to cheer on his two favorite teams, The New York Yankees and The New England Patriots.

Marvin had a true love for his 17 grandchildren as well as for his faithful four-legged companion, Joe. He will be dearly missed by all of those who knew him.

Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Patricia “Pat” Temple; 6 children: Carol Buckland, Janet Brooks (Steve), Shirley Thomas (Richard), Opal Townsend (Jeremy), Kathy Hower (Doug), and Raymond Temple. In addition to his 17 grandchildren, Marvin is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by his brother Gary Temple as well as his grandson, Joshua Brown.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church, 303 W. Christine Rd, Nottingham, PA 19362.
