Our beloved Bryan “Tyler” Murphy was tragically taken from us on August 7th, 2022 at Christiana Care in Elkton at the tender age of 31 from a pulmonary embolism. He was born at Christiana Care in Newark on August 3rd, 1991. Bryan began his schooling at Immaculate Conception School and graduated from Bohemia Manor High School in 2010. After high school and some college, he had some short term employment at Astra Zeneca and TA in Delaware before he found his home at W.L. Gore in Elkton. He was lucky enough at the age of 20 to meet the love of his life, Laura. They were married in 2016 quickly followed by the purchase of their first home in Elkton. Bryan was the first born of Brian L. Murphy and Deanna Dean-Murphy and the first grandchild of Howard J. Dean and Sandra M. Dean. He loved all sports with his very first word being “BALL” and excelled in Baseball in his younger years with Football and Wrestling being his choices later in high school earning his varsity letters/accomplishments in each.
“Tyler” as family called him was simply just the absolute definition of a good man. Easygoing child with no issues with anyone or anything except homework. Even as a teenager he was the protector of his brother Connor and sister Maddie and all of those around him with mutual love and kindness. Our gentle soul even gave of himself as an organ donor to help those in need after his passing. In marriage he became Laura’s protector along with her Mom Tracy and grandmother Judy. Our hearts are truly broken and the family asks in honor of him just to be kind to one another, because you just never know when those you love will be taken from this life to serve God where they are needed.
Bryan Tyler is survived by his wife, Laura M. Murphy, his parents and maternal grandparents listed above, brother Connor Dean Murphy and sister Madison Paige Murphy, mother-in-law Tracy Frymiare, grandmother-in-law Judy Tomlin and many aunts, uncles, cousins and great friends.
Predeceased loved ones include his paternal grandparents, George & Lois Murphy and brother-in-law John Frymiare.
Services will begin with family and friends from 10am to noon on Saturday, August 20th at R. T Foard Funeral Home, 235 E, Main St., Elkton MD, with a funeral service following at that location at noon. Burial services will take place at Elam United Methodist Church, 1073 Smithbridge Rd, Glen Mills, PA

My dear friend Bryan, always helping people at work , I remember one day my car broke down and at that time he was working at Bio A and I was in Viabil, so I ask Bryan for a ride after work, so he says ok Issy, at the end of shift I will meet you at the cafeteria. So when we both finished our shift I went to meet him but he wasn’t there, so I thought omg! He forgot about me, so anyways I waited like 15 minutes when I saw his car coming up and he stepped out of the car and says to me , oh Issy I was almost getting home but on my my way I was thinking , I am forgetting something, then finally I remembered that you asked me for the ride, so I turned right away to come for you and of course with that beautiful smile that he got always with him, he gave me the ride that I needed that night. It is hard to look at the place where he hunged his garment, because his hanger was behind mine, his locker is close to mine too. .. He was always helpful ,and fun to work with. Bryan will be dearly missed ?my prayers are with Laura your wife and your dear family ???

I only had the pleasure of knowing Bryan less than a year, but in that time he left such an impact. His presence is so greatly missed, feeling the loss of him within our room is tangible. We would stand across from each other for stretch and towards the end switched it up and stood on opposite sides. Now no matter where I stand I miss seeing him. Him and his usually unsnapped suit that he got told about frequently lol. I can’t listen to a Britney Spears song without hearing him sing. Then there’s my little hanger tag he so sweetly made for me since I didn’t know how. He patiently put in my name and then put it in again when I asked if I could have hearts on each side of my name. He didn’t complain at all, just found the hearts and printed it out for me. I have a daily reminder at work of his kindness and compassion and I smile every time I look at it.
I want to thank his family for the gift of this precious person, and the time he had with us that was filled with laughter and fun. His Bio-A family is missing him sorely. I hope for so much peace and healing for his wife Laura, and the rest of his family.❤︎

I remember seeing Tyler and Connor at their grandma Sandi's house every Christmastime, when they would both help Howard, Jon, Connor, Bryan and any other men brave enough to be around right before women took over the house. They were the muscle, and did so with such good grace and smiles. I know they would have done anything for Sandi. Besides helping haul things, Tyler, Connor and Madison made the other young people there feel welcome. There was playing in the lovely basement area where the kids had such a good time. And whenever I would get a chance to meet up with Sandi or talk to her, she would always fill me in with great pride on how all three of her beautiful grandchildren were doing. What a proud grandma. And I could always see the bond between Dee and her children. Tyler was very well-loved by his whole family, it was so easy to see. I'm glad that his time here was as a valued and adored person. I can't even tell you how sorry I am that this happened. It makes no sense and never will. I'm sending a great big hug to all of you.
