Milton V. Beigel, Jr., who was a loving husband, father and friend, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in Upper Chesapeake Hospital at the age of 67. He was born in Baltimore, MD on March 13, 1944 and was the son of the late Milton and Carrie Beigel.
Mr. Beigel retired as an engineer and served in the Army as a medic during the Vietnam War. He spent most of his time fishing, playing the role of “Mel the tool man Beigel”, and spending quality time with his family, which will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Diann May Beigel; daughter, Kelly Wirth and husband Derek; son, Keith Beigel and wife Jenny; and 5 grandsons, Private 1st Class Corey, Chance, Cannry Litchfield, Mason and Garrett Beigel.
He was a loving and gentle man with a heart bigger than no other. He will be greatly missed by all of his friends; especially his immediate family, who loved him deeply.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 2, 2012 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, 150 S. Queen St., Rising Sun , MD. Burial will be private.
