Mildred “Mickey” Clara Schuster, age 86, of North East, MD, passed away on December 3, 2017. Mickey was born in North East, MD to the late Chester and Alice Russell.
In addition to her parents, Mickey was preceded in death by her son, Rory A. Schuster and grandchildren David Owens and Melanie Dale Ruth.
Mickey is survived by her husband of 64 years, Albert R. Schuster; six children: Sandy Owens and her husband David, Jimmy Ruth and his companion, Brenda Sexton, Terry Ruth, Mark Schuster and his wife, Emily, Robin West and her companion, Melvin Herren, Dawn Phelps and her husband, Jerry; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Dunlap and many nieces and nephews.
Mickey was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She was loved and cherished by all that knew her and she will be missed immensely.
A Celebration of Mickey’s life will be held at 11:30am on Friday, December 8, 2017 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921. A visitation will begin at 10:00am and burial will follow at Bayview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “Mark Schuster”, to help alleviate medical and funeral expenses or to the “American Alzheimer’s Association” and sent in care the funeral home.
