Mildred Warrington Weed, died peacefully in her 93rd year, on August 3, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.
Mildred was born in Elkton, MD on May 15, 1920. She was the daughter of the late James W. and Jane Wilamina Warrington. She lived her entire life in Cecil County, MD.
She married Raymond B. Weed in 1937 and worked with and supported him in his career as a builder. She and Raymond brought six children into the world. She devoted her life to her family.
She was a lifetime member of Immaculate Conception Church and lived her life as a good and faithful servant of God.
She is survived by her son, Raymond B. Weed Jr. of Elkton, MD; daughters, Betty J. Weed of Elkton, MD, Virginia R. Weed of Long Beach, CA, Mary L. Bollen of Chesapeake City, MD and Bernadette M. Weed of Elkton, MD; brother, Edward Warrington of Townsend, DE; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond B. Weed and daughter, Rose Anne Holmes.
In keeping with Mildred’s wishes, services will be private.
