Miguel Angel Reyes, Sr., “Papo 13” age 72, of Seaford, DE passed away January 3, 2021. He was born on December 27, 1948 in El Barrio Achiote de Naranjito, Puerto Rico to the late Engracia Reyes and Adela Fuentes.
Papo 13 was a U.S. Army Veteran and served during Vietnam. He loved studying the bible, cooking, political history, and was musically talented. Papo 13 played guitar, bass, piano, and other instruments, where he played and was a soundman in bands that produced Latin and classic rock music. He was strong, smart, and the rock of his family.
Papo 13 is survived by his wife of over forty five years, Nilda Tanon-Reyes; son, Miguel Angel Reyes, Jr.; two daughters: Maria Reyes and Sandra L. Reyes; five grandchildren: Alyssa, Javier, Melissa, Elian, and Matthew; and sister, Lucy. In addition to his parents, Papo 13 is preceded in death by his four siblings.
An interment for Miguel “Papo 13” Angel Reyes will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made payable to the “Seaford, DE Volunteer Fire Dept” and send in care of the funeral home, R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.O. Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
