

Michelle Rose Brame, age 47, of Wilmington, DE passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 following a long and courageous battle with cancer and paraneoplastic syndrome.
Michelle graduated from Dickinson High School in 1985. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware and a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Drexel University. Michelle designed roads and then switched to designing railroads during her career.
She enjoyed the beauty of nature, reading, horseback riding, swimming and all animals. She was a loving mother and her son was the light of her life. She had a beautiful smile and a kind word for everyone. Michelle was an inspiration to all who had the honor of knowing her.
Michelle is survived by her son, Trey; her mother, Nancy Patterson; sisters, Tracy Reed (Roy), Nancy Betts (Hank), and Sue Lynch (Alan); brother, Sam Patterson (Cathy); and her nephews, Dylan and Corey.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Limestone Presbyterian Church, 3201 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808. Family and friends may visit two hours prior beginning at 9 a.m. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to Limestone Presbyterian Church or Delaware Hospice and send in care to R.T. Foard & Jones, Inc., 122 W. Main St., Newark, DE 19711.
