

Michele Ann Shervin, 54, of Elkton, MD passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.
Born February 9, 1961 in Philadelphia, PA, Michele was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Michele spent time down the shore in Ocean City, NJ, stamping beautiful cards, and going to Phillies games. Michele enjoyed cruising the Caribbean and traveling, especially to Puerto Rico. Most of all, Michele loved spending time with her family and friends.
Michele is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Michael Shervin of Elkton, MD; son, Michael Shervin and his wife, Lynn, of Kill Devil Hills, NC; four daughters: Samantha Piedilato and her husband, Joe, of Las Vegas, NV; Danielle Rice and her husband, Matt, of Elkton, MD; Amanda Stover and her husband, Joe, of Minot, ND; and Marissa Shervin of Elkton, MD; grandson, Kyle Stover; sister, Kathy Lawlor of Horsham, PA; brother, Vincent Flannery of Royersford, PA; mother, Jacqueline Senechal of Warrington, PA; mother-in-law, Anne Shervin of Ambler, PA; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Michele was truly one of a kind and will be missed deeply by all whose lives she touched.
A service will be held in Michele’s honor at 12pm Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at St. Joseph Parish, 371 E. Main St., Middletown, DE 19709, where family and friends may visit beginning at 10am. Burial will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Chesapeake City, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Michele to the NIH Safra Family Lodge at www.fnih.org/support/safrafamilylodge or checks payable to FNIH – Safra Family Lodge, and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 E. Main St., Elkton, MD 21921.
