Michael was the younger brother of a friend and neighbor of mine growing up on Hickory Road in Willow Run. His obituary reflects everything I remember of him, his brother Johnny and his family. Wonderful people! RIP Michael.

TO Mrs. Rose Marie Zale & Pamela (Zale) Thompson My name is Chris Domian. You may recall I grew up with John Zale. My sister Janet shared with me the sad news of Michael's passing. Because I live in California, I lost touch with all my childhood friends. John was my best friend growing up, so I certainly remember Michael, Pam, and Mr. & Mrs. Zale. When I visit my Delaware relatives I always stop by ALL SAINTS CEMETERY. There I visit my parents' graves; and I always stop at John's marker to pay my respects. I remember John and Michael were very different, although they could pass for twins. I have not seen Michael since grade school. I remember Michael was learning to play the drums back then. John was older and more into neighborhood sports. I recall the first day Pam and my sister Janet started 1st grade at Corpus Christi. We boys were told to escort the girls to school for awhile. The Zale home was always a happy place for me. Many times Mrs. Zale would send chips and dip up to John's room when I was visiting. Mrs. Zale was a Den Mother with the Cub Scouts back then also. I had deep respect for Mr. Zale. I was in awe of his extensive knowledge of construction and automobiles. He was always kind to me. I cannot imagine the pain you and Pam must have endured losing John; then Mr. Zale; and now Michael. Michael's obituary reflects an extraordinary love of life. He was also a hard worker. Working as a lineman for 25 years is VERY dangerous work. And to continue working beyond that career, shows a man who loved public service. He must have had an incredible work ethic. I am guessing Michael lived to work; and worked to live. And what a life he had! I wish I had the chance to meet with him in our later years. My wife and I will be visiting Delaware again this Fall. I will make it a point to visit Michael's grave, and of course John's resting place, to pay my respects. I pray that the sorrow you both feel will pass with time and be replaced with all your good memories of Michael, John, and Mr. Zale. I know they will be forever in your hearts.

Melissa, Sending you hugs of comfort during this difficult time. Please know that I'm here for you if you ever need a friendly ear or just a good cry. We can cry together! Call me any time! I'm attaching a poem that a family member sent me when I lost my parents. I hope it will help you even just a little bit like it did me. Love, Krista
