Michael Ross Ford, age 38, passed away at home on April 13, 2024, in North East, MD. He was born on March 12, 1986, in Newark, DE, to David Edward Ford and Brenda Renee (Robinson) Whitt.

Michael had a vibrant imagination and expressed himself through his various hobbies and interests. He found joy in collecting rocks, shoes and hats, and researching his family history through genealogy and building his family tree. Michael enjoyed working outdoors, and was known for his skillful hands and creative mind. He had a love for reptiles, caring for a lizard and a snake with great dedication. Michael found solace when riding his motorcycle, a symbol of his adventurous spirit. Above all, he cherished his daughter Lillyana and stayed deeply connected to his family, finding comfort and happiness in their presence.

Michael was an expressive individual, known for his helpful, caring, and friendly demeanor. He enjoyed bringing laughter and joy to those around him, often playing the role of the jokester. Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Lillyana Constantine Ford; mother, Brenda Renee Whitt (Mark); father, David Edward Ford (Patty); sisters: Calysta Robinson (Shawn Hall), and Amber Bailey (Nick); maternal grandfather, Richard W. Robinson (Mary); and great uncle, James Robinson.

Michael is preceded in death by his siblings Nicole Robinson and Jason Ford; and maternal grandmother, Calysta Hitchens.

A celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 259 East Main Street in Elkton, MD, where family and friends may begin visiting at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
