Michael Leo McKeon, of Oxford, passed away on Wednesday, May 02, 2024. He was born on May 21, 1954, to Ann Louise Bellafore and Michael McKeon.

A devoted family man, Michael is survived by his loving wife Dawn McKeon his children Sean McKeon (Abby), Meghan McKeon, Katie Hamilton (Aaron), Liam McKeon (Danielle), and stepson Blair Sirman (Karla). He was a cherished grandfather to Brennan McKeon, Oliver Hamilton, Lillian Hamilton, John Sirman, and Hope Sirman.

Michael spent his career in the Mushroom Industry retiring in 2017 from Kaolin Mushroom Farms in Kennett Square. In his free time, he pursued his passions as a certified pilot and was an active member of the National Rifle Association and National Rocketry Association, achieving Level III certification with the Tripoli Rocketry Association. He was also a proud member of the Southern Chester County Sportsman Association and Sacred Heart Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Siobhan Morton, and brother Gregory McKeon. He is survived by his sister Madonna McKeon (Bill) and his Aunt Marian Swanson.

Viewing will be at RT Foard Funeral Home, 111 Queen Street Rising Sun, MD on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. with funeral service at 12:00 p.m. followed by internment at Oxford Cemetery

Michael will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and love for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
