Michael John Talley, 55, of Rising Sun, MD passed away suddenly January 21, 2013 in Arkansas while vacationing.

Born in Chester, PA on August 27, 1957, Mike was the son of Albert and Georgianna Talley. He was a 1975 graduate of Oxford High School and has a passion for motorcycles and enjoyed four wheeling with his son. He was devoted to his grandchildren and will be missed by his family and friends.

Mike is survived by his son, Jason M. Talley and his wife Kelly of Conowingo and his daughter Mandy L. Talley and her fiancé Tom Lander of Rising Sun; three grandchildren, Taylor and Faith Talley and Gabriel Lander; a brother, Albert “Jake Talley and a sister, Linda Peterson and her husband Dennis of Oxford, and a brother in law Jeff Hunt of Rising Sun. He was preceded in death by his wife Susan and his brother Frank.

A service celebrating Mike and Sue’s lives will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday February 1, 2013 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911. Friends and family may call beginning at 1:00. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery.
