






Michael James Fischer, age 47, of Ocean City, MD and formerly of Hancock, MD, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Laurelwood Care Center in Elkton, MD. He was born in Hagerstown, MD on July 25, 1966 to the late Paul and Mary Jo (Warner) Fischer.
Michael loved the outdoors. He worked outdoors, owning a successful landscaping business he started after finishing college at Salisbury State University. He played outdoors, fishing and boating on the water, snowboarding in the winter, and riding motocross at every opportunity.
He is survived by his fiancé and companion, Leanne Matikonis, children Vienna and Tyler Fischer; a sister Kim Kesecker and her husband Eddie; nieces Adrianne and Melissa, and many friends whom loved him, and he loved dearly.
