Michael Haines Saylor, age 85 of Landenberg, PA passed away on March 28, 2023. He was born on May 22, 1937 in Montour County, PA to the late George Irwin Saylor and Gladys Phoebe (Haines) Saylor.
Michael retired from DuPont after many years. During his retirement, he enjoyed golf and hiking. He also found joy in volunteering for Good Neighbors and the Food Bank of DE. Michael was a member of Kemblesville United Methodist Church.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Michele McCleary and her husband, Michael; son, Shane Saylor and his wife, Melody; grandchildren: Ivy McCleary, Evan McCleary, Ella McCleary, Ian Saylor, and Rylee Saylor; and brothers: George Saylor and David Saylor.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Saylor and brother, Terry Saylor.
Services for Michael will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “Good Neighbors” or “Food Bank of DE” and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921.
