Michael B. McCune, 75, of Elkton, MD, passed away early the morning of December 6, 2024. He was born September 8, 1949 in Navasota, TX, to the late Clark Brevard McCune and Louise (Adams) McCune.
In Mike’s early years, he enjoyed spending his time fishing and camping. As a natural people person, he could strike up a conversation with anyone and everyone. Later in life, he enjoyed spending time at casinos, his favorites being Hollywood Casino, Delaware Park, and in Charlestown, WV. He was a longtime baseball fan, loyal to the Houston Astros, and enjoyed nothing more than watching his grandson play. He will always be remembered for having a Coca-Cola on him, and his love for his dog, Sadie.
Mike has been survived by his beloved wife, of 32 years: Sue McCune; his son: Mike McCune and his wife Stephanie; step-daughter: Jennifer Bellomy, and her wife, Michele; step-sons: Robert Pittman and his wife Carmen, Charles Bellomy and his wife Michelle; his grandchildren: Andrew, Chelsea, Wendy, Stephanie, Emily, Russell, Eliza, Jordyn, and Bryson; as well as several great grandchildren and one more on the way.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
