Michael Anthony Descheemaeker, age 80 passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023. He was born in Birmingham, AL on January 25, 1943 to the late August Descheemaeker and Mildred Jeanne (Anthony) Descheemaeker.
Michael proudly served in the Delaware National Guard for ten years. He lived in Florida and was an avid fisherman, taking any chance he could to be by the water. Michael took yearly trips to Islamorada to go fishing, which he always looked forward too. He had a Harley Davidson, and you would often catch him riding around. Michael enjoyed traveling, trains, and racing jet boats in his younger years.
Michael is survived by his wife of 43 years, Susan Q. Descheemaeker; daughter, Jennifer Saubier and her husband, Steve; granddaughter, Brooke Saubier; and brother, William Descheemaeker.
Services will be held privately.
