Michael Albert DeNofio “Noff”, age 56, of Newark, DE passed away on January 5, 2024. He was born in Chester, PA on November 16, 1967 to the late Dorothy (Saville) DeNofio and Salvidore DeNofio.

Michael was an avid sports fan with a love for hockey. Michael’s love for hockey stemmed from watching the Philadelphia flyers growing up. Michael played Dek hockey for over 20 years winning many championships. Aside from his love of sports he enjoyed going to the gym and working out every chance he could. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and friends. Michael enjoyed traveling and going out on weekly date nights with his loving wife. Michael was always proud of his children for all of their accomplishments and loved watching them play sports. He was always seen in his big white truck or his GT Mustang that he took pride in. Michael was one of a kind and will be remembered for his sarcastic jokes and professional driving skills. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Michael is survived by his wife of 28 years, Tracey L. DeNofio; three children: Samantha “Sam” DeNofio, Michael “Mikey” DeNofio, and Alexandra “Alex” DeNofio; three fur babies: Daisy Mae, Nala, and Callie; His late fur babies: Beavis, Chloe and Misty; Five bonus children: Zach, Taylor, Hunter, Michelle, and John; six siblings: Leona, Bobby, Paul (Lisa), Terri (Timmy), Joe (Sharon), Margaret (Andy); mother-in-law, Susan Lawler; two sisters-in-law: Kirsten (Mike) and Brande (JH); and brother-in-law: DJ; His cousins as well as his 17 nieces/nephews.

A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00PM on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at R.T. Foard and Jones, Inc. 122 West Main Street, Newark, DE 19711. A celebration of Noff’s life will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, January 19, 2024 at the funeral home where family and friends may attend a viewing beginning at 10AM. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “ALS United Mid-Atlantic” and send in care of the funeral home.
