Michael A. Nickerson, age 49, of Elkton, MD passed away on July 28, 2012.
Michael was born on September 18, 1962 in Elkton, MD. Michael had a great love for music, bowling, dancing, fishing and animals. He also participated in the Special Olympics where he earned several gold medals. Michael always had a smile on his face for everyone.
He is survived by his loving mother, Carolyn G. Blevins of Chesapeake City, MD; brother, Wayne Nickerson of Earleville, MD; aunt, Wanda Brown of North East, MD; uncle, Stan Brown; niece, Taylor Nickerson of Earleville, MD and several cousins.
A Service will be held 11am on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at R. T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A. 259 E. Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921 where family and friends may call one hour prior. Burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bayside Community Center in memory of Michael or a charity of choice c/o R. T. Foard Funeral Home, 259 E.
