Merlan D. Presnell, “Dennis,” age 66 of Chesapeake City, MD died at home surrounded by family on February 17, 2017. He was born on November 16, 1950 in Penns Grove, NJ to the late Merlan Presnell and Beatrice McGraw.
Dennis attended Penns Grove High School. After graduating, he became a teamster in Chester County. He also owned his own business as a painter. Dennis especially loved his home, garden, family and cats.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Tina Russell-Presnell; son, Dennis Michael Presnell of Huntington Beach, CA; daughter, Amy Presnell of Huntington Beach, CA; son, Chuck Russell of Lewes, DE; brother, Bruce Presnell of Elsmere, DE; sister, Linda Presnell of Pennsville, NJ; sister, Wendy McGraw of Pennsville, NJ. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Denny is also predeceased by his brother, Gary Presnell.
A celebration of Dennis’ Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at “Trinity United Methodist Church,” 450 3rd St, Chesapeake City, MD 21915.
