













Melvin Lee Back, age 65, of Elkton, MD, passed away on May 18, 2020. He was born on July 2, 1954 in Baltimore, MD to the late Melvin and Dorothy Back.
Melvin grew up in Parkville, MD and attended Parkville High School. He enjoyed coaching softball and took great pride cheering his daughters on as they played on the softball field. He enjoyed mentoring his children and sharing childhood memories and life experiences. He bonded with them while watching classic TV shows that he loved while growing up. He was a franchise owner of Wendy’s restaurant in Maryland, California, and Mexico. Melvin loved hosting cook outs and pool parties with all his friends and family. During his free time, he enjoyed golfing, bowling, salsa dancing, and traveling with his wife, Lorena.
Melvin is survived by his wife, Lorena Entar; four daughters: Ashley Back of Elkton, MD; Amber Back of Baltimore, MD; Amy Mackowiak of Abingdon, MD; and April Zeauskas of Elkton, MD; three sons: Bradley Back of Elkton, MD; Ryan Back of Elkton, MD; and Brian Back of Mexico.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 22, 2020 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A. 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921. Grave side services will follow at 11:30 AM in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park. To send online condolences please visit, www.rtfoard.com.
