Mary Lucile Cole, age 59, passed away Saturday, April 28 2018 at home with her loving husband at her side after a lengthy battle with Huntington’s disease. She was born on November 10, 1958 to the late Jonathan Mechem Weaver, Jr. and Mary Lucile (Smith) Weaver.
Mary enjoyed doing historical reenactments with her family. She liked art, and would express her creativity by drawing. Mary was a member of a bowling team, rode motorcycles, and would go boating and camping. She found her greatest pleasure in spending time with her family.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Larry Cole, Sr.; daughter, Amy Overly; son, Larry Cole, Jr,; five grandchildren: Brandon Pinapfel, Hailee Overly, Ryland Cole, Braylen Cole and Ryleigh Cole; eight siblings: Jon Weaver, Kim Thompson, Jack Ransone, Elizabeth Meadows, Kate Diehl, Sally Weaver, Kathleen Weaver and Carey McCormick; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Cyndi Battaglia and step-mother, Catherine (Gallivan) Weaver.
A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911. Family and friends may begin visiting at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at West Nottingham Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary’s honor may be made payable to “HDSA” (Huntington’s Disease Society of America) and send in care of the funeral home, PO Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
