

Marvin D. Moore, 54, of Elkton, MD passed away suddenly Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Christiana Hospital.
Born August 12, 1959 in Elkton, MD, Marvin was the son of the late Howard and Alice (Jones) Moore. He dedicated 28 years of his life to serving the Cecil County School District as a facilities maintenance worker.
Marvin is survived by five brothers, Eugene and his wife, Jeffra of Chesapeake City, MD, Van Art and his wife, Diane of Elkton, MD, Bart of Elkton, MD, Wade and his wife, Charlotte of Chesapeake City, MD, and Charles and his wife, Carolyn of Earleville, MD; three sisters, Anna Biggs and her husband, Joseph of Chesapeake City, MD, Lou Ann Ganzman of Elkton, MD, and Fay Etta McLean of Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by brothers, Don, Terry, and Harry Moore and his sister, Joyce Cosner.
Services will be held at 11am Sat., Nov. 16, 2013 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 318 George St., Chesapeake City, MD 21915 with a visitation beginning at 10am. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.
