Maria Madeline Swiszcz, age 78, of Elkton, MD passed away October 11, 2020. She was born on July 29, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA to the late James Charles Ricciardi and Florence A. Ricciardi (DiLauro).
Maria was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling the United States. She also loved boating and her pet cats Phoebe and Eva. Maria was a kind hearted soul and will be remembered for her quirky sense of humor.
Maria is survived by her sisters, Maggie Ricciardi of Chesapeake City, MD and Kay Palmer of Hatfield, PA; many nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Linda Bradley. In addition to her parents, Maria is preceded in death by her brothers, Pat and Andy Ricciardi.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “Lums Pond Animal Hospital” and sent in care of R.T.
